Photo Credit - ShowtimeWilliam H. Macy has opened up about why he no longer wants to direct. As it turns out, the Shameless star no longer wishes to step behind the lens as a filmmaker for more projects, despite having directed several critically acclaimed films. Speaking to ComingSoon’s Tyler Treese recently about his new neo-Western flick, The Deputy, he was asked if he would direct another film. To this, Macy confessed, “I’m not dying to. It’s really hard, man, especially indie films. I have described it as you have about four weeks of prep, maybe five, where you create this imaginary structure. And it is beautiful. And it’s going to be one of the finest films ever made.”… Source: https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/2197899-william-h-macy-direct-anymore-critical-hits
